Yes it is: Some people are born with small bladders. Others can have contraction of bladder due to obstruction, interstitial cystitis or radiation. Normal adult size bladder is about 16 - 20 oz (5 - 600 ml). Many respond to medication, some to bladder stretching under anesthesia. Very occasional really small bladders benefit from intestinal bladder augmentation.
