Usually OK: I've read of some who don't like Ibuprofen products during flu like illnesses (if dehydrated the kidneys don't dispose of it as efficiently), . However, i haven't seen any problems using the two (zofran (ondansetron) & ibuprofen) with most kids. Neither Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen are fine together.

Motrin for child: I recommend asking your son's pediatrician first, especially as I am not sure what his age is, what other medications he takes, and what his symptoms are to need motrin. His pediatrician is familiar with his medical records & history and can be your best advisor. Good luck.
