Lyme diasease: Lyme disease is an inflammatory disease caused by the bacterium borrelia burgdorferi, carried primarily by deer tick. If untreated, the infection can spread and cause inflammation in the joints (arthritis), heart conduction problems (heart block), and nervous system (meningitis, problems with memory, processing speed, and verbal fluency ) are mostly affected.
