Yes: If the edges of the crack (or fracture) are closely approximated (non-displaced) and not causing any symptoms or issues (such as CSF leak, seizures, any neurologic issues such as weakness) then they will typically heal without surgery. There are other considerations (if the fracture is located under an open wound or through a sinus) that need to be addressed with a specialist.
