Revision: Although not very common, we have seen some complications related to permanent grafts or mesh used for vaginal repairs and urethral slings. Removal or Revision: If you are having symptoms, seek an evaluation by a urogynecologist or a female-specific urologist who is experienced in evaluating and surgically correcting vaginal mesh issues. Not many physicians are comfortable with vaginal mesh revision surgery, so it's important to seek help from someone who specializes in these procedures.
