What can i do about transvginal mesh that is causing vaginal tearing?

Revision: Although not very common, we have seen some complications related to permanent grafts or mesh used for vaginal repairs and urethral slings. Painful sex is not normal and if it has been more than occasional, should be evaluated by your gyn surgeon or another one with experience in vaginal repair and grafts.

Removal or Revision: If you are having symptoms, seek an evaluation by a urogynecologist or a female-specific urologist who is experienced in evaluating and surgically correcting vaginal mesh issues. Not many physicians are comfortable with vaginal mesh revision surgery, so it's important to seek help from someone who specializes in these procedures.
