Unknown: I am not aware of vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) causing teeth-clenching. I am aware that about 50% of those with adhd were probably misdiagnosed and had sleep apnea. Symptoms are similar. No one should be placed on medication for adha without a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea. About 80% of people with sleep apnea clench and grind their teeth.

No: Vyvanase is for adhd which would be a situation of hyperactivity, which in itself could encourage the patient to be more inclined to be a clencher. The vyvanase should help the hyperactivity but in itself should not cause clenching. If the patient has all their adult teeth and they are in their proper position, a bite appliance may be necessary.

Possibly: Should consult the prescribing dr. To ask him/her about this and check the dosage. If the dosage is correct for you, a mouthpiece might be indicated.
