Very high!: Psoriasis can come and go, wax and wain, but people with psoriasis have a high epidermal/dermal transit time, normally 28 days, but can be as low as 6 days in the most severe forms. Studies have shown that patients who've had psoriasis, not present at the time of a major study, shed skin2-2.5 x that of normals. But psoriasis can be treated, managed, and remitted. Also, psoriatic arthritis occurs.
