Psoriasis: There is no cure for psoriasis only control. There are prescription topical steroids. There are intralesional steroid injections. The biologics like Humira, Enbrel, Remicade, (infliximab) and Otezla are very effective at treating psoriatic arthritis and also the skin lesions of psoriasis. We can offer various treatments to help you get the symptoms under control but that's not the same as curing you of this condition. Check out https://www.Psoriasis.Org/ and http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/psoriasis/ds00193 for more info on this condition. Then chat w/your dermatologist about what's right for you.

No in office test: There is no cure for psoriasis. However in the last 15 years some very effective medications have become available that allows a person with psoriasis to lead a normal life. These medications have some potential side effects and you should be monitored for problems. Most people do very well on them. Find a physician who is familiar with the meds and see if you are a candidate.
