Maybe: If it is painful and red it might be infected and then yes it should be evaluated.

Infected?: If there is progressive pain, redness, swelling, or drainage (pus), then the bite(s) could be infected and need care and antibiotics. See your doctor. If there is a streak up your leg from the bite, fever, chills, or other symptoms, you missed the first four listed, and should see your doctor now. You should also consider getting rid of the dog.
