Be careful.: It would be best to discuss this with the prescribing physician. Wellbutrin (bupropion) can lower the seizure threshold as can coming off of alcohol. As such, it is recommended to avoid the combination.

Not a good idea.: Per Drugs.Com Drug interaction Checker- “Using bupropion with alcohol may increase the risk of uncommon side effects such as seizures, hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, mood and behavioral changes, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and panic attacks.” There is moderate risk.
