I have a sore swollen finger along the side of my nail, how do i get rid of it?

Drainage antibiotics: This is probably paronychia-a bacterial infection of the nailfold. See your dermatologist for treatment and evaluation.

Warm Soaks: This is most likely an infection of the nail fold called a paranychia. You can try soaking your finger in warm water for 15min. Three or four times a day. If it does not improve or gets worse in a day or two see a doctor.
