How to find a very good neurosurgeon who has done lots of tumors?

Easy: Check with your local medical society. It is like checking with the better business bureau.

Ask your doctor: Your primary care physician can ask colleagues about who best to treat you. More likely, the surgeons at an academic center will have the largest volume, but there are excellent tumor surgeons in smaller hospitals. Just ask around.
