A member asked:

What's the difference between add and weird personality traits?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Often very different: Attention deficit disorder is believed to be largely a hereditary/biological disorder involving inattention and concentration difficulties that persist for many years and interfere in function. Classic add begins in childhood. Personality traits develop throughout childhood and teen years often influenced by experiences and interactions and do not necessarily involve inattention/concentration.
