Vitamin D deficiency: The sun acts on the skin to produce vitamin d so vitamin d is really a hormone. In tablet form d3 is poorly absorbed. Get your d3 blood level checked. It should be between 60 and 80. If you are light skinned and burn easily it is a good reason to stay out of the sun but if you tan then sunshine is a given.
