Possibly: Acne scars tend to be small, round, depressed scars. Other scars, such as lacerations that have been repaired, tend to be linear or curvilinear.

Yes: Acne scars tend to be circular, deep and irregular. They also tend to be multiple. For this reason, treatment is more challenging than simply cutting out a bad non-acne scar which tend to be narrow and linear. I hope this information is helpful.
