Try another brand?: If the child and the vest have been evaluated at the pediatric pulmonologist's office, and everything seems to be working as it's supposed to, then that does sound mysterious. If it is agreed that a vest is still needed, maybe one can try a different brand of vest, or use it at a different time of day. Is the child being taken away from an activity because he has to go use the vest?
