Neurology: A headache can occur after spinal anesthesia but six weeks is a long time. Since it is painful to touch i would see a neurologist. The timing related to C-section may be coincidental.

Pdph: If the headache is postural and not associated with fevers or sensitivity to light, it is probably a post-dural puncture headache. Conservative therapy consists of bed rest, pain medication, hydration and caffeine. A blood patch may be necessary and effective if conservative therapy fails. Consult with your anesthesiologist.

Spinal?: Did you have a spinal or epidural anesthesia? You may have a spinal fluid leak from the injection. Check with the anesthesiologist.
