Check with the doc: Many blood pressure medications take longer than a week to have their full effect. Check with your doctor as you may need a higher dose or another medication. Hbp is damaging over the long term most of the time and not over a few days so check with your doctor.

Urine metabolite WU.: You seem to have a high blood pressure for no other issues. This might be a catecholamine producing lesion in your body called a pheochromocytoma. This does have other symptoms, like sweating, headaches, palpitations, and weight loss, but the biggest thing is pronounced hypertension. It might also mean the BP meds need more time. Get a urine catecholamine metabolite 24 hour collection to see.
