A member asked:

I just had a tonsillectomy a week ago and now my molars and the inside of my teeth are really gritty?

Tonsilectomy: Is rough on adults and is a full two week recovery. Are you able to brush your teeth to remove some of that gritty sensation? Or rinse and spit with 50-50 peroxide and mouth wash? If it bothers you a lot call the ENT who did the surgery and ask. The haling process can easily lead to that gritty feeling.

Rough teeth: Have your dentist look at the area you are describing.
