A member asked:

How do i treat gasteritis or does it treat itself?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastritis: Depends upon cause of gastritis. If due to h. Pylori bacteria in the stomach, it is treated with combination of two antibiotics and an acid reducing medication. If due to a medication such as Ibuprofen or other medication that affects the lining of the stomach, a medication such as omprazole or ranitidisne may be used. If due to "upset stomach" due to food or alcohol, antacids may suffice.
