Depends: If you have heart or vascular disease, or diabetes, your LDL goal is 100 or less (optimally 70). If not, an ideal LDL is 130 or less, but 160 is considered acceptable.

Yes!, NOT Healthy: Ldl refers to lipoproteins, protein particles which transport all fats in the water outside cells & are the primary driver of atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis, after decades of asymptomatic artery enlargement leads to plaque ruptures & clots. Ldl is always in nmol/l, best <700 see NMR particle test. 242 & 141 are cholesterol values. Cholesterol a fat made in every cell & cheaper, not better, test.
