Not to do it: Don't recommend piercings for four month old infants. If can lead to infection but also, if the piercing comes out - the baby could ingest it.

Wait till consents: I believe that, like tattoos, changing the appearance permanently should be made as an adult. Also, causing pain unnecessarily to kids is a slippery slope. Don't do it and wait. What if there were serious complications? How would you be able to forgive yourself? Not worth it, for either of you.
