Continuity of care: To get to know a patient and have coninuoty of care is the best it's difficult for the same dr to see you each time in emergency dapartments, which, by definition, are designed for emergency care. For one to use this for routine care will also increase cost and waiting times for those who may need a room for more urgent or emergent problems. It's generally much more expensive to use as well.
