What's the relationship between chromosomes, rna and dna?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Genetics.: Dna contains your genetic information (genes) coded by the chemical structure of the dna. In cells of higher organisms, there are multiple strands of dna that are organized into structures with a sort of protein scaffold (chromosomes). When the genes are "read", the information is translated into rna, a related chemical that is essentially a copy of a gene that is then processed to make proteins.
