A member asked:

What do the different types of rna and dna do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Too complex for a: Short answer. Dna provides the code for making proteins that carry out most of the functions in the body. Rna is the step between dna and protein. Briefly, dna is transcribed into rna; RNA is further processed to the right size and content and translated into proteins. Both dna and RNA also have complex regulatory functions.
