What could happen if i choose not to have dental x-rays due to cost?

$1 today $10 2morrow: The x-ray gives us a view of what may be going on. It may catch something early, and significantly save you discomfort and higher treatment fees.

Lack of diagnosis: X-rays are a diagnostic tool we use to find problems that are not able to be seen with the naked eye. If we cannot see problems they can get worse and could ultimately cost you much more than the cost of the original x-rays. There can be an increase in cost, amount of work, time needed and possibly discomfort.
