Tools for assessment: A voiding diary, or bladder diary, is a way to relate fluid intake with voiding behavior. It is usually performed over 24 or 48 hours, and the time and amount fluids are taken, the time and amount of voids, and any episodes of leakage or symptoms are noted. Doctors use this data to find patterns and help to diagnose problems in urine storage and voiding.

Here is ...: Voiding diaries is the self-recorded detailed intake and urine output every single time serially for usually 2 days so to be analyzed and document patients' lifestyle in fluid intake and how much they void day and night. Thereby, the possibility of over drinking, polyuric nocturia, etc. could be documented, and some realistic lifestyle can be adjusted and modified. More? Ask Doc timely.
