Jewelweed: Jewelweed, or impatiens capensis, is a wild-growing herb best known for its skin healing properties. Herbalists use the leaves and juice from the stem of jewelweed as a treatment for poison ivy, oak and other plant induced rashes, as well as many other types of dermatitis. It seems to counter-react with the chemicals in other plants that cause irritation -- like urushiols in poison ivy.
