Yes: Every patient who has a mastectomy will need at least a few weeks to recover before resuming aerobic exercise. If lymph nodes are removed, the affected arm may be sore for 3-4 weeks and we advise avoiding heavy lifting. If a reconstruction is performed with expanders, use of chest wall muscles will be restricted during the expansion process, but aerobic activity is not a problem....

Nope : Once things heal you should be able to resume regular activity.
