Pediatrics: Make sure they are board-certified. Go to abp.Org to check credentials. Have an up-front conversation about communication, call-backs, expectations, philosophy on child-rearing, etc.. Enlist them as a partner in your child's health. Once the relationship is established, let your doctor know you trust them.
