Will pregnancy be prevented if i start taking ortho evra two days after i had sex?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: You need to take the morning after pill, most of the otc ones are effective if taken within the first 72 hrs after unprotected sex, Ella (ulipristal acetate) - a prescription one can be taken up to 4 -5 days after and if you are 44 in my opnion the patch has way too high a hormone dose for you, i put most of my pts your age on loloestrin- the lowest dose pill or do an office tubal sterilization- takes 5 minutes.
