A doctor has provided 1 answer

Similar: Schizophrenia is a disease characterized by either hallucinations and/or delusions-which are called psychosis. The main difference is that most all schizophrenics have some form of psychosis or disordered thoughts, but not all with psychosis have schizophrenia. There may be 100 different conditions which can cause psychosis. Psychosis is a symptom, like a fever is a symptom which has many causes.
