Tanning ≠ Healthy: The skin tans as a reaction actinic radiation {sunlight}. This is a protective mechanism that helps the body deal with a possible future insult. Intentional tanning i don't recommend. Tanning beds are out because there is a strong correlation between tanning beds and skin cancer.
