No! : Speed is methamphetamine (meth). Dextroamphetamine (dex) is dextro isomer of methylated phenylethylamine. Meth adds another methyl group attached to dex molecule that changes its chemistry drastically. Dex is safe, meth is dangerous. 2-phenylethylamine is found in large amounts in chocolate, slight change in amphetamine molecule substitutes phenyl group for methyl in dex. Only meth is dangerous.
