A member asked:

Blood in vomit and loss of appetite, no fever or pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Important: Depending upon the duration of the symptoms it could be something serious like a peptic ulcer, a bleeding growth or something simple and self limiting like gastritis or a tear in the esophageal mucosa (mallory-weiss tear). In either case it is very important that you consult your physician urgently as massive bleeding can be potentially fatal.
