May be impetigo?: A couple of websites mention that indian fire is another name for impetigo. Impetigo is a skin infection caused by bacteria. The skin gets warm with redness. Sometimes the skin is tender. There is usually yellowish crusty material on the rash as it develops. Impetigo can spread from person to person, and should be evaluated and treated with antibiotics by a doctor.
