Most likely: Food allergy symptoms are caused by large after being ingested, eventhough there are reports of trigger by aerosol or contact. Whether a tea tree oil contains treenut is not likely, but always possible if contamination occur during shampoo manufacturing. Food allergy sufferers should always carry an epipen, (epinephrine) and any new product might be cautiously tried in small amounts first.
