What are the effects of chronic myelogenous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cancer of the blood: Assuming you mean chronic myelogenous leukemia, there may not be symptoms in the early stages of "chronic phase". If not treated eventually anemia (weakness) and an enlarged spleen (discomfort) develop. If it advances to aggressive phase or blast crisis, bone pain, severe weakness, infections and death occur. Fortunately, there is very effective treatment for disease caught early.
