A member asked:

Is radioactive medicine safe for someone with rheumatic heart disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: I beileve this would depend on a few things such as the area being radiated and the risk of not getting the radioactive treatment. It is possible that not treating the illness with radioactive medicine is worse for the heart disease than the radiation exposure itself.
