Depends: That depends on the type of appendectomy. If it is done laparoscopically then the small scars will be almost invisible after a few months. If it is done with a more traditional open incision it could be more noticeable.

Depends: What the scar looks like has too many variables to say without more information. It depends on the surgical approach: open or laporoscopic, and also if the appendix is ruptured at the time of surgery. No matter what the scar the surgery is important to save your life so heed the advice of your surgeon. The scars can maybe be revised in the furure.
