Very tough: Tinnitis is very common, and often associated with hearing loss. Technical hearing aides have dramatically improved over the years, but "tinnitis maskers" remain only partially of value. On occasion some problem in the eustacian tube or sinuses can be provocative, and it is worth looking for. Contact a good ENT specialist, and see what can be offered.
