Can mirina cause contraction-like feelings and pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It shouldn't: U need to see your gyn to make sure it is in the right place, or that u do not have an infection, the only time it could be uncomfortable should be when it is inserted and that is almost always minor discomfort if u want no more kids you should get an in offcie tubal that I do on my pts , takes 5 minutes , easy, no more iud.
