Dmsa test: Dmsa test is a functional renal scan where you injected with the isotope and it is cleared by the kidney. Functional renal tissue will pickup the isotope and appears brighter than the back ground. Areas of renal scarring will not "light up" on the study and will appear "dark." www.Peedoc.Com @drhtay.
