Too much sugar: The reasons for the complications of diabetes is the inability for the body to use the amount of sugar that a person eats, so that the excess sugar attaches in places it should not. It attaches to blood vessels and nerves, and also affects the immune system; together, these lead to the complications of diabetes.

Many complications: Diabetic patient are at greater risk for complications such as cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure, poor circulation), nerve damage (neuropathy- resulting in poor sensation), kidney damage (nephropathy - poor kidney function), and eye damage (retinopathy- resulting in poor vision). There are different symptoms for each complication. Have your self evaluated to get the appropriate tests.
