How long does it take to recover from a hysteroscopy/d&c?

1-2 days: The above procedure is usually done with a local block or light anesthetic. Barring complications, recovery is less than 24 hours with minimal spotting & cramping after. I usually prescribe Ibuprofen & tylenol (acetaminophen) following these & most patients do very well and return to work/school the next day. Take care.
