Do urologists deal with problems of the adrenal glands?

Dr. Richard Orr answered

Specializes in Surgical Oncology

Some do: Adrenal tumors are relatively uncommon. All endocrinologists are familiar with them. Depending on their personal practices, some urologists and general surgeons have experience with adrenal tumors, but most saw only a few in their residency and very few in practice. Check out the individual's personal experience or find an endocrine surgeon.
