Not used twice a day: Clomiphene/ Clomid (clomiphene) is a long-acting medication and is not given twice a day - i assume you mean two 50 mg pills once a day. Common side-effects are hot flashes, mood changes, mild bloating, mild nausea, increased cramping, breast tenderness, headache. There's about a 5-10% chance of multiple pregnancy, mostly twins. If it was prescribed twice daily see a reproductive endocrinology / infertility md.
