Recurrent infections: Physicians who practice in allergy, asthma & immunology have been trained to evaluate the function of the immune system. Most commonly, poor immunity to polysaccharide encapsulated bacteria such as strep. Pneumoniae leads to recurrent ear, sinus and lung infections. Vaccines used in children under age 2 (pcv-13) might not always generate protective antibodies. Checking for this problem might help.
