Is it possible to donate my corneas after lasik surgery or prk?

Nope.: For a corneal transplant to work well the graft needs to be healthy and normally thick. A lasik or prk treated cornea is weakened and thinner than normal and will be unstable for use as a graft.

Yes: The eye bank may or may not accept the cornea for a transplant but should be accepted for research purposes.

Yes: Yes. Your corneas can still be used for posterior lamellar keratoplasty (dlek, dsaek). These procedures only replace the posterior layers of the cornea.
