Possibly: Like many medical conditions, alzheimer's disease is the result of the interplay between genes & behavior. Presumably you can have really bad genes that overcome really good behaviors or vice-versa. Somewhat: The most important is controlling you blood pressure and cholesterol level. It is also important to have physical exercise and keep mentally fit. Some studies indicate that drinking in moderation, eating fish and dark chocolate might decrease the risk.

Possibly: We don't really know the answer whether or not Alzheimer's disease is preventable. We do know that certain populations in the world have a higher incidence than others. We also know if we can cut down on the risk factors we decrease our chances of getting Alzheimer's disease. So the bottom line is the jury is still out on this question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9tLafWOsfU
